This is a really easy to make dip. It’s my go-to option when I have to improvise and make something quick when I have to entertain. Smokey and cheesy flavors are combined to create a perfect dip that goes great with crackers. Wait to see the face of your guests when you tell them it’s made with actual tea, you’ll impress them!
Tea is so versatile that you can use it in many different ways to cook. One of them is adding the leaves directly to the preparation. This delivers tons of flavor to your palate. (If you’re wondering if it’s ok to eat the tea leaves, well yes! We do drink Matcha, don’t we?)
Lapsang Souchong is a love it or hate it tea, it might scare people off because of its deep smokey aroma but it has a sweetness and smokey but smooth flavor. For this dip, you’ll use ground Lapsang Souchong leaves as an ingredient but I also encourage you to offer it as a brewed tea, paired with the dip and served with crackers.
